Chongqing Pushi’s third power station successfully connected to the grid.

At 9:00 a.m. on March 20, 2019, the Shanxi Rongxin Low-Concentration Coal-Gas Power Station—the third power station constructed by Chongqing Push Machinery Co., Ltd.—began its trial operation under the supervision and guidance of the State Grid Shanxi Dispatch Center, the county dispatch center, and the relay protection departments.

At 9:00 a.m. on March 20, 2019, the Shanxi Rongxin Low-Concentration Coal-Gas Power Plant—the third power station constructed by Chongqing Push Machinery Co., Ltd.—began its trial operation under the supervision and guidance of the State Grid’s dispatching center, county-level dispatching center, and relay protection departments in Shanxi Province. After completing 17 individual startup tests, at 5:00 p.m., the first-phase 4×1 MW generating units were successfully connected to the grid and achieved stable power generation even when the coal-gas concentration dropped as low as 7.43%.

Rongxin Gas Power Plant is an investment by Beijing Hua Mei Noah Technology Co., Ltd. in Zhongyang County, Lüliang City, Shanxi Province. A low-concentration coalbed methane power plant, constructed at a cost of 55 million yuan, has selected the PUSH1000WH generator set—developed and manufactured independently by Chongqing Push Machinery Co., Ltd.—following a comprehensive industry-wide evaluation. The prime mover for this generator set is the GP210GWL series low-concentration, medium-speed gas engine, which was also independently developed and produced by our company. This series of gas engines features advanced industry-leading systems, including electric gas control, digital speed control system, digital ignition, and intelligent unattended management. They also incorporate high-compression ratio lean-burn technology and high-energy multi-flame jet ignition technology. The product boasts numerous advantages, such as high efficiency, long service life, high reliability, corrosion resistance, high-temperature resistance, precise control, ease of maintenance, low emissions, low noise, and low vibration.

After the project goes into operation, it will run according to the unit configuration. Based on an annual operating time of 7,200 hours, this project can generate 24,480,000 kWh of electricity per year, saving 11,276 tons of standard coal annually and reducing CO2 emissions by 119,666 tons annually. The construction of this project is of great significance in addressing gas emissions, preventing gas-related accidents, ensuring underground safety, preventing environmental pollution, mitigating the greenhouse effect, promoting comprehensive resource utilization, and fostering social development.
