Integrity education for Zhongpu is an ongoing journey.

　　On May 17, the Party branch of Chongqing Push Machinery Co., Ltd. organized a visit and study tour to the Chongqing Tieshanping Integrity and Anti-Corruption Education Base for a total of 27 participants, including company Party members, mid-level and higher-ranking cadres, and staff in key positions.

　　At 10:10 a.m., led by Wang Kangsheng, the Party branch secretary of the company, the group entered the education base accompanied by the base’s docent. After listening to General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech during his inspection of Chongqing in the entrance hall, all visitors first jointly recited the oath of Communist Party members. Then, they proceeded to view, one by one, exhibits covering the history of the Communist Party of China, the origins and development of Party conduct building, and President Xi’s views and remarks on integrity and clean governance under various contexts. Before entering the case-warning area on the second floor, the education base gave everyone a chance to experience a 3D film titled “A Thousand-Mile Dam Can Be Destroyed by an Ant’s Nest.” The vivid visuals and immersive sound effects felt like a powerful alarm bell ringing loudly across heaven and earth, its resounding echoes deeply moving and stirring the soul.

　　Under the case videos and the commentator’s progressively deepening explanations, the evolving mental states of corrupt officials are laid bare with unflinching clarity, and the corruption processes behind a series of bribery and embezzlement cases are shockingly vivid. The tearful faces of those imprisoned criminals displayed on the screen, as well as the heartfelt confessions of the punished offenders posted on the walls—each and every one of these serves as a stark reminder of the shame brought about by moral decay and betrayal, urging Party members, cadres, and all members of society to forever preserve their original purity and noble ideals.
　　The final educational lesson comes from the story of Dong Ronghua, former member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, deputy general manager, and chief engineer of Chongqing Iron and Steel Group. It illustrates how he lost sight of his original aspirations and, during his final years in office, engaged in rampant corruption and power-for-money deals, amassing illicit gains totaling over ten million yuan. As a result, the company not only became heavily indebted but also faced an even graver situation due to safety accidents. At that time, Dong Ronghua had already retired. Yet, as the net of the law is vast and leaves no one unpunished, in July 2017, after nearly four years of idleness and believing himself to have “landed safely,” Dong Ronghua was finally brought to justice—and shed tears of remorse...

　　This educational activity is of great significance. The participants received profound integrity education, which has strengthened their ability to resist corruption and prevent moral degeneration, and further solidified their correct worldview, outlook on life, and values.
