On January 5, 2018, the Party Branch of Chongqing Push held its annual summary meeting for 2017 party affairs at the office in the company’s assembly and testing workshop. At the meeting, Chen Xuemei, a member of the branch committee, reported on the main work activities and existing issues of 2017, and organized a democratic evaluation to select the company’s outstanding Party members for 2017. Due to the departure of Fang Xiaohong, the former organizational committee member of the branch, a new branch committee was elected at the meeting. Currently, the company’s Party branch is led by Zhao Xinwu, the deputy secretary of the branch. Li Pei concurrently serves as both the organizational committee member and the publicity committee member of the branch; Chen Xuemei holds the position of youth committee member; Ji Haibiao serves as the discipline inspection committee member; Zeng Bowei acts as the disciplinary inspector; and Hu Yong'an, an non-Party member, has been appointed as the administrative supervisor of the Party branch.

To further strengthen the Party’s efforts in building its own organizational capacity—enhancing its intensity, depth, and transparency—and to boost the enthusiasm, initiative, and creativity of the broader workforce, on the afternoon of February 8, 2018, the Party Branch of Chongqing Push Machinery Co., Ltd., together with the administrative and trade union departments, jointly held the 2017 Annual Summary and Commendation Meeting. At the meeting, a group of outstanding Party members, outstanding Party workers, and outstanding League members for 2017 were recognized and honored. In addition, the company also commended its annual advanced employees, model workers, and outstanding members of the trade union.
At the commendation meeting, Wang Kangsheng, the company’s newly appointed general manager, summarized the experiences and lessons learned over the past year, outlined the key priorities for this year’s work, and called on the Party, government, labor union, and youth league to join forces and work together as one. He urged all employees to stand united and face difficulties and challenges with courage, hoping that through everyone’s relentless efforts, the company will usher in a new era of transformation and breakthrough!

To gain a deeper understanding of the spiritual essence of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the important assertion that socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era, and the new features of the evolving principal social contradiction in our country, on the eve of the 2018 Spring Festival, the Party branch of Chongqing Push organized all party members, prospective party members, and outstanding employees to once again study the report delivered at the 19th National Congress of the CPC and related knowledge. Following the holiday, the company also held a quiz competition on the knowledge gained from the 19th National Congress.
All participating employees achieved excellent results this time, demonstrating that the Party branch’s publicity efforts have been quite effective. They were able to grasp the essence of the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the CPC with remarkable accuracy, and at the same time, fully leveraged the Party branch’s role as a fighting fortress within the company.

On the afternoon of March 2, 2018, the Party branch of Chongqing Push organized company members and prospective party members to watch the Chinese military war film "Operation Red Sea." After the screening, employees shared their personal reflections and insights based on their own work experiences. The aim was to inspire a sense of party spirit and a strong sense of responsibility within the company team through patriotic education and publicity.
By carrying out this activity, we have essentially achieved our organizational goals. While arousing patriotic enthusiasm, it has also prompted viewers to reflect deeply on the essence of a prosperous and strong nation and the personal actions that each of us should take to contribute to it. As of March 30, among the submitted reflections, eight have been approved by the Party branch review. Among these, two of particularly high quality have been recommended by the company’s Party branch to the Party and Mass Work Department of Push Group and the Publicity Department of Jiulong Park.

At 2:00 p.m. on March 29, 2018, the Chongqing Push Party Branch organized current party members and prospective candidates for party membership within the company to review key points from the 19th National Congress and relevant documents issued by the Group Party Committee for the first quarter, in the company’s second-floor conference room. The main study materials included: “A Political Declaration and Action Program for Advancing Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era”; “Implementing the Spirit of the 19th National Congress of the CPC and Promoting the Deepening of Comprehensive and Strict Governance of the Party”; “Communique of the Second Plenary Session of the 19th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC”; “Xi Jinping: Fully Implement the Spirit of the 19th National Congress of the CPC and, with an Unwavering Commitment to Continuing the Journey, Take Comprehensive and Strict Governance of the Party to Greater Depths”; and “Notice on Further Implementing the Spirit of the CPC Central Committee’s Eight-Point Regulation and Creating a Clean and Upright Environment,” among others.
Subsequently, all participants engaged in discussions and shared their views on current seasonal events, drawing on the content they had studied. At the conclusion of the study and discussion session, they summarized the key insights, gained a clear understanding of the Party organization’s correct leadership direction, and further strengthened their convictions and faith.

At 4 p.m. on April 25, 2018, the Party branch of Chongqing Push organized an in-depth study session on the General Outline of the new Party Constitution. During this session, party members and prospective members once again clarified the nature of the Party organization, its ideal goals, and its guiding principles for action. The session also explained why the Four Basic Principles are the foundation upon which our country is established and elaborated on the five fundamental requirements that must be firmly upheld in Party building. All party members were called upon to play a pioneering and exemplary role, striving tirelessly to fulfill the three historic tasks of the Party and the state and to realize the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
In the latter half of the meeting, Zhao Xinwu, deputy secretary of the Party branch, guided everyone to engage in “criticism and self-criticism,” identifying shortcomings and problems in their own work. Wang Kangsheng, the company’s general manager, stated: “Next, the company will hold an expanded democratic life meeting, led by the Party branch, to extend ‘criticism and self-criticism’ to middle-level cadres and further expand it to every work team. This will help us overcome parochialism and unite everyone around a shared sense of purpose, enabling the company to shed its burdens. Moving forward, the company will also strive to enhance the ideological quality of all employees, eliminate teams without any Party members, and ensure that every team has Party members who can play a role in providing support and setting an example.”

On the afternoon of May 25, 2018, the Party branch of Chongqing Push Company took the lead in organizing active party members, prospective party members, and mid-level management cadres of the company to hold an expanded democratic life meeting at the Qingqigu venue in Taojia Town.
The meeting was divided into three segments. First, we studied Chapter 1—“Party Members”—of the “Constitution of the Communist Party of China (New Edition).” Party members were urged to clearly understand their duties and rights and hold themselves to strict standards, while non-Party members were encouraged to leverage their role in oversight and actively promote Party building within the company. Next, Wang Kangsheng, the company’s general manager, delivered a speech emphasizing the important role and responsibilities of Party organizations in the company’s business operations and development. Finally, all participants engaged in an extensive discussion, conducting “criticism and self-criticism” centered on the company’s development—particularly focusing on the performance of middle-level managers in various departments and offering suggestions for future work.
In the third segment, “Criticism and Self-Criticism,” encouraged by the company’s senior and deputy general managers, everyone set aside their reservations and openly discussed the pros and cons, coming up with many valuable ideas and effective approaches that will help strengthen the company’s development. As a result, this expanded democratic life meeting concluded successfully.
