Our company’s self-developed GPL210 series diesel engine has passed the appraisal.

On September 21, 2012, the appraisal meeting for our company’s independently developed GPL210 series diesel engines was solemnly held at the Conference Center of Chongqing Jiayu Yinghuang Hotel. Representatives from Taizhou Shipyard, Qu Shunjun; Taizhou Ocean Shipping Company, Chen Jiang; the Science and Technology Commission of Jiulongpo District, Chongqing, Wei Shibin; the Development and Reform Commission, Chen Zhu; and Yang Ming from Yibin Push Mold Co., Ltd. were invited to attend the meeting. The appraisal committee, composed of units including the Third Design Institute of the Machinery Industry, Chongqing Dongfeng Ship Design Institute, and Chongqing Jiaotong University, focused its evaluation on the product’s key technical specifications, performance, reliability, structural rationality, manufacturability, advanced features, as well as its application value and promotion potential.

　　Qu Shunjun, representing Taizhou Shipyard, Chen Jiang from Taizhou Ocean Shipping Company, Wei Shibin from the Science and Technology Commission of Jiulongpo District, Chongqing, Chen Zhu from the Development and Reform Commission, and Yang Ming from Yibin Push Mold Co., Ltd. were invited to attend this meeting.
　　An appraisal committee composed of units including the Third Design Institute of the Machinery Industry, the Chongqing Dongfeng Ship Design Research Institute, and Chongqing Jiaotong University conducted an appraisal focusing on various aspects such as the product’s key technical specifications, performance, reliability, structural rationality, manufacturability, advanced nature, application value, promotion conditions, and future prospects.
　　According to the agenda of the appraisal meeting, the expert panel of the appraisal committee visited the prototype manufacturing site of our company’s GPL210 system diesel engine, inspected the GPL210 diesel engine prototype, and after returning to the conference center, carefully listened to the work report delivered by the R&D team for the GPL210 system diesel engine. They also thoroughly reviewed the technical documents and materials related to the GPL210 series diesel engines.
　　After a lengthy and comprehensive review, the appraisal committee unanimously concluded that the technical documentation for the GPL210 series diesel engines, independently developed by our company, is complete and sufficient to guide the mass production of this series of diesel engines. The diesel engines exhibit excellent performance, with overall machine performance comparable to that of similar foreign models. The test results meet the requirements specified in the design and planning document, and the engines are thus qualified for installation and order placement.
