The Zhongpu Party Branch held a training session on “Integrity in Professional Conduct.”

On the afternoon of December 21, 2018, the Party branch of Zhongpu organized an expanded democratic life meeting attended by company party members, prospective party members, and middle-level cadres. During the meeting, participants watched a PPT presentation titled “Strictly Uphold Professional Ethics and Adhere to Integrity in Work” as well as an educational short video (the story of Shen Hao, the former first secretary of the Xiaogang Village Party branch), thereby learning how to put “integrity in work” into practice. The Party branch urged all company party members and cadres to strengthen their “three outlooks.” (Concept of Law and Discipline, Concept of Morality, Concept of Honor and Shame) , persist “Five Talks” (Emphasize integrity, abide by rules, prioritize the bigger picture, emphasize learning, and pursue efficiency) , to do “Four Prohibitions” (Strictly prohibited: harming public interests for personal gain, accepting bribes or demanding favors, abusing official authority, and engaging in extravagance and waste.) · Remember firmly “Six Prohibitions” (You must not place personal interests above those of the organization; you must not put the interests of small groups ahead of those of the factory; you must not pay lip service while harboring ulterior motives; you must not act on emotion or loyalty alone; you must not retaliate against whistleblowers or ostracize dissenters; and you must not engage in gambling or other illegal or disciplinary violations.) The subsequent company-wide discussion was led by General Manager Wang Kangsheng, who guided everyone in conducting case analyses and linking them to the company’s ongoing work. Statements and proposals related to "integrity and self-discipline as well as anti-corruption efforts."

At this training session, the company made the following resolution: ( 1) Starting in 2019, the Party branch has strictly strengthened supervision over company discipline, including attendance regulations. (2) After each meeting, heads of various departments will conduct self-checks and reflections based on the learning materials covered, thereby avoiding fundamental mistakes. (3) One of the key focuses of the Party branch’s work next year will be “conduct oversight.” In addition to signing “Integrity Responsibility Letters” and conducting integrity talks, we will also establish monthly tracking and oversight files to monitor and record employees’ work performance and ideological trends in real time. (4) All “three major matters” (major decision-making, appointment and removal of key personnel, important project arrangements, and use of large sums of money) must first be reviewed and approved by the Party branch’s executive committee; meeting discussions must be documented, and all procedural steps must leave behind traceable records. (5) We emphasize that the promotion process for cadres must include “three public announcements”—after nomination by the office meeting, the candidate must first undergo discussion and public announcement by the Party branch committee, followed by human resources assessment and another public announcement before finally being appointed and publicly announced again. (6) Next year is designated as the “Year of Standardized Construction of Party Branches” at Zhongpu. In addition to building “activity platforms,” we will also strengthen the establishment of rules and regulations across the board. We will launch targeted initiatives centered on each functional department within the company to further reinforce the political functions of the Party organization. (7) In 2019, the Party branch took the lead in mobilizing collective wisdom and organizing all employees to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the company’s products, so as to help marketing accurately target customers based on product characteristics. (8) The main theme for the company next year will be “improving conduct and boosting efficiency.” The Party branch will oversee and promote the timely completion of the company’s monthly business plans and ensure that financial management adheres to budgetary expenditures. Combined with effective market research, we will drive coordinated support from technology, human resources, and capital.
